How I will work with you:

• Persuade government to take a long term view in tackling youth crime in terms of funding and realistic outcomes and commission grassroots charities to provide more front line services for hard to reach groups.
  

• Find more progressive alternatives to Stop & Search which alienates some sections of the BME communities.
  

• Work with Safer Neighbourhood Teams in promoting events that helps improve relations between neighbours and foster a community safety net based on collective trust and genuine care for each other.

• Design a targeted public health programme for curbing childhood obesity, improving women’s health outcomes and tackling coronary heart diseases.
  

• Bring together the Police, victim support agencies and voluntary sector to make the overall community safety measures more visible and accessible.

• Look after carers health and wellbeing, particularly the under 18’s.
